This software will allow users of Windows 95, 98, or ME to connect to GCC's Elite XL 20 Series, Elite 12 Series (running ROM version 3.2 or higher) and Elite XL 616/808/1208/1208PM printers (running ROM version 2.94, 3.02, or later) via a direct TCP/IP Ethernet connection. | Contains source code for "filter" programs that can be used with the Berkeley Unix print spooler, lpd, to send print jobs to the Elite XL across a TCP/IP network. You don't need the filters if you don't intend to print from a Unix machine, or if you will print from Unix by forwarding jobs to the printer's internal lpd (this requires connecting a SCSI disk to the Elite XL.) | Download | ||
