The Elite 12/1200N provides true 1200 x 1200 dpi output, giving you razor-sharp output for text as well as all types of graphic output. It also uses GCC’s AccuGray™ technology, guaranteeing accurate, high-quality halftones regardless of linescreen or resolution.
The printer has a high-speed RISC processor and prints at a quick 12 pages per minute, which translates to less time waiting for output. When it comes time to change toner, there’s nothing simpler than GCC’s one-piece toner cartridge system.
The Elite 12/1200N carries on the proven reliability of the GCC Elite printer family. It uses the same print engine as the Apple LaserWriter® 12/640 and is designed to last for about one-third of a million pages of output. With that track record, this is a printer that your business will be counting on for years to come.
The Elite 12/1200 N offers true cross-platform connectivity as well, with built-in PostScript and PCL language compatibility assuring that jobs from both Macintosh® and Windows® computers can be handled with ease.
In addition, the Elite 12/1200N offers multiple paper handling options. The printer has a built-in 250-sheet Universal paper tray, handling paper sizes up to 216mm X 356mm, and an 80-sheet multi-purpose feeder for envelopes, transparencies and other stock. There is an optional 500-sheet Universal paper tray available which will allow
different sizes or stocks to be used without switching trays.
The printer includes standard 10 BaseT Ethernet
support and ships with all the software necessary to connect to almost any Mac or Windows network. Additionally, the printer has direct USB support for new Macintosh and Windows 98 models and a
parallel connection for use with a stand-alone PC.
